JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a well-rounded, independent Senior Alteryx Consultant who is able to manage senior-level stakeholders and understand complex business requirements. Typically working within major Financial Services organisations, this consultant must have a solid technical background in Alteryx, Power BI and wider Data Analytics from requirements gathering to delivery. The ability to engage with customers and provide Alteryx/Power BI enablement through training and consultative working methods is key.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and challenges around data analytics.
• Translate these requirements into a technical solution making use of Alteryx to analyse and define tasks, data flows and dependencies necessary to scope and deliver complex technical projects.
• Replicate Excel-based Macros into Alteryx for Automation and Performance Optimisation.
• Develop and maintain advanced analytics and other BI solutions using the full suite of Alteryx products (Designer and Server).
• Blend, cleanse and enrich data of any size, type, structure or source.
• Demonstrate how the application of Alteryx AI functionality solves business challenges and delivers value
• Develop and deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards that meet client requirements.
• Develop and deliver knowledge transfer and training to the client Support client enablement by delivering a variety of training courses
• Strengthen our internal consultant network by helping solve challenges that other consultants present to the group.
• Contribute to business development by spotting opportunities for future work and building, modifying, and presenting demos.
• Work on R&D side projects individually or as part of a team.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

• At least 5 years of experience using Alteryx to deliver enterprise data analytics projects.
• Background in Power BI would be a plus
• Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries
• Understanding of data modelling techniques and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile software development methods
• Alteryx Designer Advanced Certified
• Excellent client interaction, problem-solving and communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle
• Comfortable delivering customer-facing training sessions
• Involvement in the Alteryx/Power BI Communities or wider data community
• Intermediate English knowledge
